Almond Joy Brownies (vegan + paleo)

fudgy brownies loaded with melted chocolate, shredded coconut, and chopped crunchy almonds!


brownies mixed with any other sweet treat are gonna be a good time and these are honestly just too good 2 be true


i’ve had a need for a nicee brownie lately and these def hit the spot





THE RECIPE:

yields: 12 brownies

prep time: 10 min

cook time: 30 min

total time (including cooling): 50 min

ingredients

1/4 cup melted coconut oil

1/2 cup coconut sugar

2 tbsp maple syrup

1/4 cup non dairy milk

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup almond flour

1/3 cup cacao/cocoa powder

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup chocolate chips (save some for topping)

1/2 cup shredded coconut (save some for topping)

1/3 cup finely chopped almonds (save some for topping)

instructions

*preheat oven to 350 F and line or grease a 9x9 baking tin, set aside

*in a large bowl mix together the coconut oil, coconut sugar, maple syrup, non dairy milk, and vanilla

*add in the almond flour, cacao powder, baking soda, and salt. then add in the chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and chopped almonds

*spread the mixture into the pan and sprinkle with the extra choc chips, coconut, and almonds. bake in the oven for 26-30 min, let cool for 10, slice, and enjoy!
