THE RECIPE:
yields abt 12 cookies
prep time: 10 min
cook time: 15 min
total time (including cooling): 35 min
ingredients
2 flax/chia eggs (2 tbsp ground flaxseed/chia seeds + 6 tbsp water, mix, and let sit for 5 min)
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1/2 cup date butter (can use store bought -i recommend @nunature_superfoods use code KAYLEE10 for 10% off- or make your own by blending abt 7 soaked and drained dates until smooth)
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup almond flour
1/3 cup cacao/cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
instructions
*preheat oven to 350 F and line or grease two baking sheets, set aside
*in a large bowl mix together the flax eggs, coconut oil, date butter, and vanilla
*add in the almond flour, cacao powder, baking soda, and salt. then add in the chocolate chips
*using a small/medium cookie scoop evenly place the dough onto the cookie sheets, bake for 15-16 min, let cool for 10, and enjoy!
