Chewiness, chocolatiness, fudginess, perfectness... okay I'm just making up words now, but trust me these brownies deserve it!! They are a constant crowd pleaser and the extremely simple almond butter swirl on top, makes you look like a chef.
Their crispy edges and soft, melt-in-your-mouth centers are the things that dreams are made of. Warning, try not to lick the screen;)
Simple ingredients with a bomb taste. So go, run to your kitchen and enjoy the fudginess!!
THE RECIPE
yields: 16 brownies
prep time: 15 minutes
cook time: 20 minutes
total time: 35 minutes
Ingredients: 2 flax eggs (2 tbsp ground flax, 6 tbsp water, mix and let sit for 5 min) 1/2 cup coconut sugar 1/2 cup almond butter
3 tbsp avocado/melted coconut/extra virgin olive oil 1 tsp vanilla 3/4 cup almond meal 1/3 cup raw cacao powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp baking soda 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray/grease a 8 x 8 baking tin with coconut/e.v. olive/avocado oil 2. In a large bowl mix together the flax eggs, coconut sugar, almond butter, and vanilla 3. Then stir in the almond meal, cacao powder, salt, cinnamon, and baking powder 4. Add in your chocolate chips, and use a spatula to spread the batter evenly into the pan, and put in the oven for 18-20 minutes 5. Let cool for 10 minutes, and enjoy!!
