When I was younger and could eat gluten (or so I thought lol), I would eat at least 1/3 of the batter from the Betty Crocker packages. That contained raw eggs, processed sugars, and strange ingredients that I didn't completely understand. So how could my body?
It's all about balance. If you want a Betty Crocker boxed mix brownie, go have it! I'm not telling you what to do with your body. If you want one of these delicious BROWNIE COOKIES most definitely HAVE ITTTTT

THE RECIPE
yields: 17-20 cookies
prep time: 10 minutes
cook time: 13 minutes
total time: 23 minutes
Ingredients: 1 flax egg 1/4 cup almond butter 1 1/2 tbsp melted coconut oil 1/2 tsp vanilla 1/3 cup chocolate chips (melted) 1/2 cup maple syrup 1 1/4 cup almond flour 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 cup cacao powder 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease or line 2 baking sheets 2. In a large bowl mix together the flax egg, almond butter, coconut oil, vanilla, melted chocolate, and maple syrup 3. Add in the almond flour, salt, baking soda, and cacao powder. Then stir in the chocolate chips. 4. Use a small cookie scoop and place the dough 1-2 inches apart on the baking tray. Bake for 12-15 minutes (cookies will still seem soft) and let cool for 10 minutes, enjoy!!
These are the most AMAZING cookies ever!!!!! I couldn't believe it when I bit into them they were absolutely fantastic and i don't even feel guilty eating five in one sitting.
