My Protein Oats Recipe!! (vegan, gf, nut free)

Oatmeal is possibly my favorite thing ever, so I think I'm an expert by now :) Whether they're stove top or microwave they're always amazing




As you can see my oats normally consist of lots of berries, banana, chocolate, and nut butter (normally pb but sometimes cashew like in the first photo ;)



THE RECIPE:

yields: 1 bowl of oats

prep time: 5 min

cook time; 10 min

total time: 15-20 min

For microwave:

Ingredients:

1/2 cup gf oats

1/2 cup water

A dash of cinnamon

A couple tbsp non dairy milk

1-2 scoops protein powder

Any toppings of choice

Instructions:

1. Microwave 1/2 cup (gf) rolled oats and 1/2 cup of water with a couple dashes of cinnamon for 1 minute

2. Stir and add a little milk of your choice and 1-2 scoops of protein powder, stir, and microwave for 1 more minute

3. Stir again and top with your fav fruits, nut/seed butter, and toppings! In this one (at the top) I used chocolate protein powder and added cashew butter, a chopped banana, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and chocolate chips on top😙

For stovetop:

Ingredients:

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup non dairy milk

A dash of cinnamon

1/2 cup gf oats

1-2 scoops protein powder

Any toppings of choice

1. In a small pot, over medium heat, simmer 1/2 cup non dairy milk and 1/2 cup water with a couple dashes of cinnamon'

2. Once bubbles form on the edges of the pot, add 1/2 cup of oats and continue to stir and cook until a good amount of liquid is absorbed into the oats

3. Add 1-2 scoops favorite protein powder and continue to cook until reached desired consistency

4. Add desired toppings and enjoy!
