This skillet is super fudgy, with crisp edges, and a whole lot of melted chocolate throughout. it’s simply surreal if you ask me:)
THE RECIPE:
yields: 5-8 servings
prep time: 10 min
cook time: 24 min
total time (including cooling): 44 min
ingredients:
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1/4 cup nut or seed butter (I prefer almond, cashew, or sunflower)
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup coconut sugar
1/4 cup non dairy milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup almond flour
1/3 cup cacao powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
instructions:
*preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9x9 cake round
*in a large bowl mix together the coconut oil, nut or seed butter, maple syrup, coconut sugar, non dairy milk, and vanilla
*then add in the almond flour, cacao powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. then stir in the chocolate chips
*pour the mixture into the cake tin and bake in the oven for 22-24 min, let cool for 5-10 min, top with your fav ice cream/sauce/nut or seed butter, and enjoy!
