Chocolate Almond Butter Fudge (vegan, paleo, + 5 ingredient)

this fudge is extremely simple and still somehow finds a way to taste like toffee, happiness, and everything that’s right in the world


it has the perfect soft but chewy consistency and an amazing contrast between sweet n salty from the chocolate and the flaky sea salt on top! definitely a mouth-watering treat!





THE RECIPE:

yields: 12-16 ish pieces

prep time: 10 min

total time (including cooling): 1 hr 10 min

ingredients:

1/4 cup coconut oil

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1/4 cup almond butter

1/4 cup maple syrup

a dash of vanilla (optional)

a generous pinch salt

instructions:

*in a bowl melt together the coconut oil and chocolate chips in 30 second increments in the microwave, mixing in between each, until smooth.

*add in the almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt and pour the mixture into a lined loaf/square pan. freeze for 1-2 hours or until firm, slice, top with a nice pinch of sea salt (it takes it to a whole new level, trust me;)) and enjoy (store in freezer)
