THE RECIPE:
yields: 12-16 pieces
prep time: 10 min
cool time: 1-2 hours
total time (including cooling): 1 hr 10 min
ingredients
for the fudge-
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup almond butter (can sub other nut or seed butter)
1/4 cup maple syrup
a dash of vanilla (optional)
a generous pinch salt
for the cookie dough-
2 tbsp almond butter
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp non dairy milk
1/4 cup coconut flour
a sprinkle of salt
2 tbsp chocolate chips
*for the fudge- in a bowl melt together the coconut oil and chocolate chips in 30 second increments in the microwave, mixing in between, until smooth
*add in the almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt and pour the mixture into a lined loaf/square pan, set aside
*for the cookie dough- mix together all the ingredients until combined and place small clumps of the pieces evenly on top of the fudge
*freeze for 1-2 hours, slice, top with a nice pinch of sea salt, and enjoy (store in fridge)
