soft warm berries with a slightly crisp crumble top, get ready to taste your childhood

this is definitely one of my fav recipes i’ve ever made and when i tell you it tastes EXACTLY like the real thing i’m telling the truth loves

and i mean technically the ice cream on top is optional but like… is it rlly?

yields: 1 serving

prep time: 5 min

cook time: 27 min

total time (including cooling): 32 min

for the berry bottom-

about 1/3 cup fresh or frozen berries

for the crumble top-

1/2 tbsp coconut oil (cold or room temp, not melted)

1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup

1/2 tbsp nut or seed butter

a dash of vanilla

a pinch of salt

a dash of cinnamon

a pinch of baking soda

a pinch of baking powder

2 tbsp gf oat flour (2 tbsp blended gf oats)

2 tbsp gf oats

*for the berry bottom- preheat oven to 350 F and fill a ramekin with the berries, set aside

*for the crumble top- in a small bowl mix together the coconut oil, maple syrup, nut or seed butter, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, oat flour, and oats until combined. place the topping in clusters on top of the berries, bake in the oven for 27-30 min, let cool for 5, preferably top with vanilla ice cream, and enjoy!
